Britannica adds that the nation has land borders with Algeria and the Western Sahara, as well as having borders with the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.
The country has two major mountain ranges: the Rif Mountains in the north, and the Atlas Mountains in the central region. Within the Atlas Mountains is Morocco’s highest point: Mount Toubkal, standing 13,665 feet (4,165 meters) tall.
